Seven Card Stud
The basics of the game starts with the dealer Collecting the ante from each player. Three cards are then dealt to each player, the first two face down and the last face up. This is followed with a round of betting. The next three cards (fourth, fifth and sixth cards) are dealt one by one and face up, with a round of betting after each card is dealt. The seventh and final card is dealt faced down to each player. The last round of betting will follow and a winner with the highest card ranking will rake in the money.
Seven Card Stud High/Low
Seven Card Stud H/L is played the same way as seven card stud but the pot is split between the highest hand and the lowest qualifying hand. To qualify for the low half of the pot, the low hand must be 8,7,6,5,4 or lower. The Ace plays a special part in Seven Card Stud H/L as it acts as both high and low.
Five Card Stud
Five Card Stud is a smaller variation to the seven card stud as it uses five cards not seven. To play the game the the dealer collects the ante from each player. Two cards are then dealt to each player, the first card face down and the second one face up. This is followed with a round of betting. The next two cards (third and fourth) are dealt one by one and face up, with a round of betting after each card is dealt. The fifth and final card is dealt faced down to each player. The last round of betting will follow and a winner with the highest card ranking will rake in the money.
